UI keeps getting worse

Twitter has decided that they want to keep us fiddling with their app so their notifications are now constantly showing some irrelevant comment "a cat you havent heard of liked your tweet", hundreds of these - without a chance to ignore it.

This went from a very innovative UI to an unusable one. But we are all forced to use this, since twitter has ensured that there will be no viable competitors.
