The update EVERYONE has been waiting years for !!!

When are you all going to decide to update twitter and add an "EDIT" option. You guys known for years how much users complain about their typos and have to redo a tweet or catch a mistake in their tweet later on and its too late to redo the tweet because it follows after tweets that was leading to a point. Please add the "EDIT" option to Twitter its longgggg OVERDUE !
