After update nothing changed. Looks exactly the same. And PLEASE LET US EDIT TWEETS!!!

Twitter is lit. Period. Anyone who complains is probably obsessed with the senior home that is Facebook.

Not crazy about the circle shaped profile pictures, I liked the squares way better. Other than that, nice update

The removal of the profile tab at the bottom baffles me.. I have absolutely no clue why you all would remove something so vital to the experience of using the app. People who have a strong focus on Twitter for their businesses have to constantly return to their profile to retweet or manage past posts. Having to access it through a button on a separate tab all the way at the top left of the screen is ridiculous. I also – being someone who is a filmmaker and tends to post lots of images – totally agree with what many others have said about the color-adapting image backgrounds.. They are far too distracting. Maybe they could at least still be darkened to help separate the image from the background? Nonetheless, I truly hope the first issue I discussed is addressed. I have used Twitter to build my clientele for quite some time, and Id hate to have to switch my focus to another platform because of an irritating UI.

The new UI is just fine for me. I like it. The only problem I have is that now the buttons in the top-left corner are much harder to press. If they could increase the area sensitive to touch to be larger, it would help a lot. The old version didnt have this problem. The user story is that you want to go back or close a photo. The area of screen that detects that interaction has shrunken to the point of making it VERY easy to miss the "button." Expand it beyond just the visual part of the button and you should be good.

What is with the rounded profile pics? This is a trend that needs to go away. It looks ridiculous and cuts off the corners - stop it!. The tiny carat in the corner to get rid of annoying tweets is hard to use. Cant just tap and hold name to bring up menu any more - I think its a shirty move to get users to click on ads to be able to dismiss them. And I had to chuck about 15 ads this morning. Awful.

Twitter overall is a great app. Dont really have any complaints besides the Ads.

7 years. 7 years I loved using this app. Now with this new layout, everything is terrible. Thank you for just ruining something great. Deleting the app. Using just Instagram from now on

Well done twitter. Really loving the round profile pics. Love all the new icons, love how the replies, retweets, and likes update live. Thats a good look. There is a lot to love about this update. Love how easy and quicker it is to turn on night mode. When youre viewing photos it cool how the background matches the photo. One thing Ive noticed is the polls are more round but once youve voted its like the old look more square looking. Always love new features and Ill be looking forward to more.

The layout for all the different sections seems more complicated. The user profile icon has moved to the upper left corner from the bottom right & makes it a less simple task to see a users own timeline by making it a two-tap process to get to the profile. Profile pictures are also circles now instead of squares, which I dont like & think was necessary. The whole layout is more zoomed in & I feel as though many other users would agree the previous setup was just fine the way it was! Itd be better/more versatile to have this layout as an option for users rather than a default.

Such a terrible update. Instead of 5, now we only have 4 tabs & this doesnt improve anything.

I miss the old layout of the twitter app. Please change it back

Twitter has silenced many right wing personalities. They also dont even show terrorist attacks in the trending area all anti-trump propaganda. For example the attack on republican senate members practicing for a baseball charity event. There was no mention of a radical democrat opening fire on the team. But instead was something about trump in the trending area.

I read what it said if I updated twitter and there was sm I was beyond excited! I even saw some people posting about how the new update looked. so I updated it immediately and I opened the app, and theres no change at all. everythings the exact same, which is fine, but I really wanted the update. FIX asap please????!!

Wish I had option of previous layout. Worked fine for me. Now cant find my own tweets and it looks wack. Not a fan. Revert.

my TL/profile looks super weird. the black outlines should be darker. man, idk everything is just too light smh
