It won’t let me use my account....

I stopped using twitter for a while and when I got back on it wouldn’t let me like or retweet amything and it says I’m following 0 people. So I checked my email and twitter told me that they locked my account, and I followed all the steps to get it back working but, nothing has worked... this is an issue and I’d like my account back.
