Battery & storage hog

The app caches lots of data, almost 0,5GB now. I have to reinstall it every time I run out of space. Why doesnt it clean up after itself automatically? It also uses quite a lot of power while open. Another problem is the amount and quality of ads. Too much useless, irrelevant... stuff.
