Notifications glitch

My notifications arent working correctly. Its not telling me who is liking my tweets? All that it lists are the people who mention me so the app thinks I havent seen the notification for the people who like my tweets. Therefore the number notification NEVER goes away on my home screen. Super annoying. Fix what is broken and leave it!! This app gets worse with every update.
